Job summary

Fugro is seeking a software engineer with 3–5 years of AI/ML/LLM experience to build and deploy machine learning powered applications. You will own the development lifecycle, integrate AI into ERP/CRM/ITSM platforms, and implement MLOps practices.

Ideal candidates have strong Python (FastAPI), hands-on with LangChain/LlamaIndex, and experience building RAG systems and vector databases. Singapore-based, 3-year fixed-term contract.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, Engineering, Data/AI or equivalent.
• 3–5 years working experience in software engineering with at least 2 years AI/ML or LLM app dev.
• Strong Python skills including FastAPI and async programming.
• Hands-on with LLM frameworks LangChain, LlamaIndex; building and deploying RAG systems.
• API development and enterprise system integration experience.
• Exposure to MLOps practices and fine-tuning workflows.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy ML/LLM powered applications, agentic workflows, and automation pipelines.
• Develop rapid prototypes to validate use cases before full build.
• Integrate AI capabilities into enterprise systems via APIs/middleware.
• Own full development lifecycle from design to monitoring.
• Develop and support ML models for approved use cases.
• Apply MLOps including versioning, deployment, monitoring and retraining.
• Document solutions and share reusable components across teams.
