Job summary

NTU Singapore, a research-intensive university, is seeking a Research Associate in Computer Science to join the College of Computing and Data Science. The role focuses on AI for quantitative trading, developing AI-driven strategies, and validating them through experiments and data analysis.

Strong programming and finance knowledge are required. The appointed candidate will contribute to literature reviews, conduct innovative research, and prepare research papers reporting results.

Qualifications

• Preferably Master’s degree in Computer Science and related discipline.
• Sufficient experience and knowledge in finance.
• Expertise in computer programming.
• Good knowledge and experience on Software Engineering is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork and verbal, written communication skills.
• Independent, highly analytical, proactive and a team player.
• Demonstrated capability to conduct innovative research.

Responsibilities

• The candidate will work on the project to conduct research and literature review on AI for quantitative trading and financial investment.
• Develop a new AI solution to find the optimal strategy
• Conduct experiment to verify the efficiency of the designed solution
• Analyze data acquired from the field survey and make comparison
• Writing research papers to report the results
