Job summary

synaxg in Singapore is seeking an experienced Algorithm Expert / Technical Lead to advance AI-RAN and next‑gen wireless technologies. You will design AI/ML‑driven wireless algorithms, build simulations in MATLAB, Python, and C/C++, and work with cross‑functional teams worldwide.

This leadership role involves shaping technical roadmaps, collaborating with customers and partners, and contributing to patents and papers. Singapore‑based, you will mentor engineers and drive product-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in wireless communications, AI/ML algorithms, RAN systems, or baseband algorithm development.
• Strong knowledge of wireless systems such as OFDM, MIMO, beamforming, channel modeling, PHY/MAC design, and 4G/5G/6G architectures.
• Hands-on experience with MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar engineering tools.
• Good understanding of AI/ML applications in communications, signal processing, networking, or edge inference.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and international teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of AI-RAN, 5G/6G, and wireless communication algorithms.
• Develop simulations, prototypes, and performance evaluation tools using MATLAB, Python, C/C++, or similar tools.
• Work with engineering teams to translate algorithm concepts into product-ready requirements and implementations.
• Support technical roadmap planning, customer discussions, partner collaboration, and standards-related activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to patents, technical papers, and internal technical documentation.
