Job summary

MCI CAREER SERVICES PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on AI/ML Engineer to develop anomaly detection and machinery monitoring solutions. You will build models, perform data cleaning and feature engineering, and evaluate performance using Python-based tools.

You will also support LLM-powered apps, create web services and APIs with Python/JavaScript, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver real-world AI applications. Immediate start preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong Python proficiency with SQL and JavaScript.
• Hands-on experience with pandas, NumPy and scikit-learn; exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Familiarity with Linux, Git and AI coding assistants; capable of ML model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AI/ML models for anomaly detection and machinery monitoring.
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, model training, validation and evaluation using Python.
• Support LLM-powered applications, including document processing, embeddings, retrieval testing and deployment.
• Develop and maintain web applications and APIs using Python, JavaScript and SQL with the engineering team.

Salary: $3,500 - $4,500/month (Based on experience)

Location: Buroh Street, West Singapore

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM; one Saturday per month, 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance AI/ML models for anomaly detection and machinery monitoring applications.
• Perform data cleaning, feature engineering, model training, validation, and performance evaluation using Python.

• Develop and maintain web applications and APIs using Python, JavaScript, and SQL while collaborating with the engineering team.

Skills/Experience Required

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python , with working knowledge of SQL and JavaScript .
• Hands‑on experience with pandas, NumPy, and scikit-learn , with exposure to PyTorch or TensorFlow through coursework, internships, or projects.
• Understanding of machine learning fundamentals , including model training and evaluation; familiarity with Linux, Git, and AI coding assistants.
• Exposure to LLMs, RAG, or vector databases is an advantage. Good communication skills and availability to start immediately or on short notice are preferred.
