Qualifications

• Requires a Diploma or Degree in AI, CS, Engineering or related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals with Python fluency; familiar with TypeScript or quick learners.
• Demonstrated projects you can explain (courses, internships, hackathons or personal builds).
• Curiosity about AI systems and habit of verifying outputs.

Responsibilities

• Develop production-ready features for client systems (APIs, model integrations, tests).
• Write evaluation and guardrail code for prompts and inputs.
• Work across stack in Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript/React.
• Support and monitor deployments on AWS and Azure with growing responsibilities.
• Maintain clear documentation of builds, issues, and fixes.

Role Overview

We are seeking an early‑career Junior AI Engineer who is eager to build real AI systems and grow alongside our lead engineer. You will contribute production‑ready code across projects such as conversational assistants, document/data extraction pipelines, and internal decision‑support tools.

You will begin with well‑defined tasks and progress to owning features as you build trust. Our engineering culture emphasizes correctness, disciplined coding, and tightly guided use of AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop features for live client systems: model integrations, APIs, and automated tests.
• Write evaluation and guardrail code: replay tests, quality checks, and defences against prompt injection or poor inputs.
• Work across the stack in Python (FastAPI) and TypeScript/React.
• Support and monitor deployments on AWS and Azure, with increasing responsibility over time.
• Maintain clear documentation of builds, issues, and fixes.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or Degree in AI, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong programming fundamentals with fluency in Python; familiarity with TypeScript or willingness to learn quickly.
• Demonstrated projects (coursework, internships, hackathons, or personal builds) you can explain in depth.
• Curiosity about AI systems and a habit of critically verifying outputs.
• Comfort using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) as aids, not crutches.

Nice to Have

• Internship or project experience in AI/ML, backend, or data engineering.
• Side projects with real users.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, FastAPI, or React.
• Interest in testing, evaluation, or security.
• Experience with regulated or enterprise software
