Job summary

SME Careers is looking for an Intellectual Property (IP) Subject Matter Expert to review AI-generated legal responses and create expert IP content. You will develop training content and optimize AI performance while ensuring model integrity. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, where you can leverage your legal expertise to enhance the accuracy of AI models.

For this role, a JD/LLB and at least 5 years of experience in IP law are essential. Candidates should be detail-oriented, capable of clear communication, and ideally have experience with AI data training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in IP law.
• Active bar membership (or eligibility) in at least one jurisdiction.
• Comfort assessing practical risk in IP law.
• C1 English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed prompts and gold‑standard IP outputs.
• Evaluate and rank AI responses to improve clarity.
• Test AI outputs for inaccuracies and validate reliability.
