Addcel Engineering PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an AI Intern to help drive our digital transformation by integrating AI across core business functions within engineering and construction contexts.

You will work with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies, source AI tools, deploy low-code automations, and help staff adopt new tools through guides and training. This internship offers hands-on exposure to AI in high-tech facilities with mentorship from senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in CS, DS, BA, or Engineering.
• Proficient with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney); basic Python or VBA; Power Automate.
• Ability to break down complex processes into logical steps.
• Strong written and verbal communication to explain technical concepts.
• Self-starter who stays updated on AI trends and Scaling Up.

Responsibilities

• Audit workflows to identify high-impact AI integration areas.
• Research and evaluate third-party AI tools and automation platforms.
• Assist deployment including API integrations or low-code automations.
• Create user guides and conduct training sessions for staff.
• Define and monitor KPIs to measure ROI of AI initiatives.

We are committed to operational excellence and are currently seeking a dynamic AI Intern to help spearhead our digital transformation by integrating Artificial Intelligence across our core business functions.

The Role

As an AI Intern, you will work directly with our leadership and cross-functional teams to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI technology and practical construction operations. Your mission is to identify inefficiencies and deploy smart solutions that drive productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use Case Identification: Audit internal workflows (Engineering Management, Sales & BD, Tender & Contracts, Procurement, HR, Finance, Construction Management & Project Management) to identify high-impact areas for AI integration.

• Solution Sourcing: Research and evaluate third-party AI tools, LLMs, and automation platforms that align with Addcel’s strategic goals.

• Implementation: Assist in the deployment of AI solutions, including setting up API integrations or developing custom low-code/no-code automations (e.g., using Excel VBA or Power Automate).

• Training & Adoption: Create user guides and conduct "Lunch & Learn" sessions to help staff understand and adopt new AI tools.

• Performance Tracking: Help define and monitor KPIs to measure the ROI of implemented AI initiatives.

Requirements

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or Engineering.

• Tech Savvy: Expert in AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney), basic coding (Python or VBA) and automation tools like Power automate.

• Analytical Mindset: Ability to break down complex processes into logical steps.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills to translate technical concepts for non-technical team members.

• Proactive: A self-starter who stays updated on the latest AI trends and "Scaling Up" methodologies.
