Job summary

Astek Singapore Innovation Technology Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced AI Security Engineer to design, implement, and secure an enterprise AI Guardrails platform across AI-enabled applications.

You will deploy AI security infrastructure with AWS EKS, GPU-enabled compute, and AI Gateway integration, ensuring high-availability and auditable controls while collaborating across engineering, cloud, and security teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• At least 6 years in Cybersecurity domains incl. cloud/security.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on AI security in enterprise.
• Experience securing LLMs (GPT, Claude, Llama, Gemini).
• Strong knowledge of AI guardrails, red teaming, threat modelling.
• Experience with AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, Azure Foundry or Vertex AI.
• Proficient in Python and another language (Java/Go/C#/C++).
• Solid API security, REST APIs, JSON, auth protocols.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, IaC.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder skills.
• Experience in regulated industries is a plus.
• Certifications like CISSP/CISM/CCSP/CCSK/CEH/GIAC are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement AI Security Guardrails to protect enterprise AI apps and LLMs.
• Deploy and manage AI security infra using AWS EKS, Kubernetes, and GPU compute.
• Establish secure deployment architectures, governance, and AI Gateway integration.
• Conduct AI security assessments, threat modelling, architecture reviews, and AI Red Teaming.
• Identify and mitigate AI-specific threats including prompt injection and data leakage.
• Assess and secure Agentic AI systems and MCP ecosystems.
• Implement AI model scanning, automated security testing, and runtime security controls.
• Develop security automation and integrations using Python, REST APIs, and cloud-native tech.
• Integrate controls into DevSecOps, CI/CD, IaC workflows.
• Produce technical docs, security assessments, architecture designs, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, cloud, cybersecurity, and AI teams for secure platform delivery.
