Job summary

Mikomiko is hiring a talented Full-Stack Developer to own architecture, development, integration, and optimization of both frontend interfaces and backend systems for our AI-powered products. You will work with designers, ML engineers, and other team members to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing user experiences.

Responsibilities include building scalable frontend/backend architectures, APIs, and data schemas, as well as containerization and cloud deployment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience with React, Vue, or Next.js (React preferred).
• Familiarity with TypeScript and state-management tools (Redux, Recoil, Zustand).
• Strong backend language experience (Node.js, Python, or Go).
• Experience building RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with databases and caching (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis).
• Experience with data viz (Chart.js or D3.js).
• Knowledge of build tools and CI/CD (Webpack, Vite, GitHub Actions).
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP for deployment.
• Understanding of scalable, secure, reliable system architecture.
• High attention to UI/UX quality and performance.
• Strong ownership, problem-solving, and clean code practices.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently.

Job description

We are looking for a talented Full-Stack Developer with strong engineering, system design, and user-experience capabilities to join our core team.

In this role, you will take ownership of the architecture, development, integration, and optimization of both frontend interfaces and backend systems for Mikomiko’s AI-powered products. You will work closely with designers, machine learning engineers, and other team members to deliver elegant, scalable, secure, and high-performing user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend architectures.

• Develop and maintain core web interfaces, frontend components, and backend services.

• Build and maintain robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs.

• Translate product and design requirements into responsive, interactive, and user-friendly interfaces.

• Implement efficient business logic, database schemas, caching layers, and system integrations.

• Build and maintain a modular, reusable, and scalable component system.

• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs, AI services, and machine learning systems.

• Collaborate closely with designers, frontend and backend engineers, and machine learning teams to deliver seamless and stable user experiences.

• Optimize user-interface performance across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.

• Optimize database queries, API response times, backend processes, and overall application performance.

• Ensure systems meet appropriate standards for security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

• Contribute to containerization, cloud deployment, system monitoring, DevOps processes, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Continuously explore new frontend, backend, and full-stack technologies and propose improvements to the development process and product architecture.

• Write clean, maintainable, well-structured, and testable code.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Vue, or Next.js, with React preferred.

• Familiarity with TypeScript and modern state-management solutions such as Redux, Recoil, or Zustand.

• Strong proficiency in at least one backend programming language or environment, such as Node.js, Python, or Go.

• Experience developing and integrating RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Experience with databases and caching systems such as MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.

• Experience with data visualization technologies such as Chart.js or D3.js.

• Understanding of modern build tools and CI/CD pipelines, including Webpack, Vite, and GitHub Actions.

• Understanding of containerization and cloud deployment using technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.

• Good understanding of system architecture, scalability, reliability, and security principles.

• Strong attention to UI/UX quality, application performance, and technical detail.

• Strong ownership, problem-solving ability, and commitment to clean and maintainable coding practices.

• Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently in a self-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience developing AI-powered platforms, creator tools, anime-related products, or visually rich applications.

• Experience with Canvas, WebGL, or Three.js for dynamic graphics and interactive rendering.

• Familiarity with server-side rendering (SSR) and frontend performance optimization.

• Experience with high-concurrency or distributed systems.

• Familiarity with microservices architectures and message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

• Background in AI inference service deployment, model serving, or machine learning system integration.

• Knowledge of DevOps practices, monitoring systems, and CI/CD workflows.

• Contributions to open-source projects or a publicly available engineering portfolio.

• Strong aesthetic sensitivity and a passion for building interactive, design-rich user experiences.
