Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a senior FinOps-focused professional to own the central cost management framework across cloud, OpenShift, GPU infrastructure and GenAI token usage.

You will partner with Platform Engineering, ML/LLMOps, IT Infrastructure, Finance and Procurement to optimize costs while maintaining platform performance and reliability. This role requires strong budgeting, forecasting and governance skills, and an ability to communicate cost drivers in business terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years in cloud infrastructure, FinOps, or related cost-management roles.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift cost analysis and optimization.
• Experience collaborating with finance, procurement and engineering teams on budgets.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the centralized FinOps framework for cloud, OpenShift, GPU infra and GenAI token consumption.
• Drive GenAI token cost optimization through model routing, caching and efficiency analysis.
• Optimize OpenShift resource usage and cloud services to achieve cost efficiency with performance.
• Establish chargeback/showback, cost allocation and governance standards across projects and teams.
• Build dashboards and alerts to monitor spend, utilization and budget risks.
