Kaplan Higher Education Academy Pte Ltd is seeking an AI Engineer to join our IT team in Singapore. The role focuses on building AI solutions, leveraging LLMs, APIs, and modern cloud technologies, from prototype to production.

This is ideal for a fresh graduate or early-career engineer eager to deepen technical skills in generative AI and practical applications, with on-site work at Wilkie Edge.

Qualificações

• Fresh graduate or up to two years of relevant experience.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Exposure to generative AI and LLM applications.
• Understanding of APIs, databases and Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms is desirable.
• React or Next.js experience is an advantage.
• Internships, university projects and strong personal AI projects are considered relevant experience.

Responsabilidades

• Build AI prototypes and production features.
• Integrate LLMs using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock or similar services.
• Develop APIs and backend services, preferably in Python / Typescript.
• Work with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), embeddings, vector search and tool calling.
• Test and evaluate AI quality, reliability and safety.
• Support deployment, monitoring and optimization.
