Job summary

Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) is seeking an officer to join the Ecosystem Development section under the Next Generation Programme Office. The role contributes to building long-term engineering capabilities for next-generation Air Navigation Services systems and AI-enabled solutions.

The role covers engineering capability development, programme implementation, and stakeholder engagement, with a 3-year contract in the first instance and potential renewal.

Qualifications

• Trained in Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates welcome with relevant fields of study.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional projects is preferred.
• Hands-on familiarity with AI engineering practices and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement plans to build and sustain local engineering capabilities for next-generation ANS systems.
• Identify emerging technologies and capability needs for long-term engineering development.
• Contribute to AI engineering work, including domain knowledge graphs, AI-enabled solutions, and model training, evaluation and fine-tuning.
• Apply AI and digital engineering tools to support requirements analysis, knowledge management, automation, testing and decision support.
• Support deployment of CAAS engineers and strategic partners within ANS programmes.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to track progress and resolve implementation issues.
• Maintain integrated plans and prepare senior management updates on capability development.
• Engage internal stakeholders, industry partners, vendors and research organisations to advance capability development.
