Job summary

Epergne Solutions is seeking a Senior AI Engineer in Singapore to design and deliver GenAI-powered cloud-native solutions from ideation to MVP. You will work on AI/ML, microservices, DevOps, and public cloud platforms, with a strong emphasis on architecture and scalability.

The role requires deep AI/ML expertise, GenAI frameworks, and hands-on experience with NLP concepts, as well as Agile/Scrum practices for delivering high-impact projects.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of development experience in Java, Python, Node.js and Spring.
• Hands-on AI/ML experience with GenAI.
• GenAI frameworks: LangChain, OpenAI API, Gemini, Hugging Face Transformers.
• Strong Prompt Engineering experience.
• Deep NLP concepts: tokenization, embeddings, transformers, language models.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture and microservices.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum with Jira.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop GenAI-powered applications within cloud-native architectures
• Integrate AI solutions into microservices and container-based environments (public/private/hybrid cloud)
• Optimize and deploy AI models in cloud environments
• Refactor applications into 12-factor, microservices-based architectures
• Lead PoCs and MVPs with strong technical ownership
• Provide client advisory on GenAI and ML implementation
• Mentor teams and contribute to technical thought leadership

Mandatory Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of development experience in Java, Python, Node.js, and Spring
• Strong hands-on experience in AI/ML technologies
• Expertise in GenAI frameworks: LangChain, OpenAI API, Gemini, Hugging Face Transformers
• Strong Prompt Engineering experience
• Deep understanding of NLP concepts: tokenization, embeddings, transformers, language models
• Proven experience with cloud-native architecture (microservices, containers, 12-factor principles)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum (Jira environment)
