Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, AI, HCI, or related field.
• Strong AI/ML background with interest in generative AI (LLMs, multimodal).
• Proficiency in Python; experience with React-based web platform development (Next.js or equivalent).
• Experience leading/coordinating technical teams, projects, or research initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of AI/Research Engineers, providing technical direction and mentorship.
• Collaborate with pedagogical research to design studies and assess technical feasibility.
• Drive the technical roadmap for AI-powered educational systems and deployment requirements.
• Maintain hands-on involvement in system architecture, AI pipelines, and platform development.
• Bridge between the technical team and research stakeholders, translating needs into implementation.
• Lead and contribute to publications at top HCI, AI, and education venues.
• Evaluate emerging AI methods relevant to the team's research agenda.
