Qualifications

• Programming in Python or Java; strong coding skills.
• Experience with data analytics, statistics or optimization.
• Familiarity with AI, Generative AI, LLMs, or AI-enabled workflows.
• Understanding of operations research, industrial engineering, or manufacturing systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently on a project-based learning assignment.

Responsibilities

• Develop proof-of-concept Agentic AI workflows for planning optimization.
• Evaluate coordination between multiple AI agents.
• Analyze planning trade-offs involving tool demand, layout, material, and capital investment.
• Document findings, recommendations, and improvement opportunities.
• Present final project results and future enhancement opportunities.
