Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Singapore is seeking an Engineer, Material to drive packaging material qualification, improvements, and supplier quality management to support cost, quality, delivery and risk objectives.

You will collaborate with KMG teams, manufacturing sites, quality, suppliers, and partners to execute material qualification, manage changes, and ensure laboratory readiness, equipment readiness, and compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 0–2 years experience in material qualification, packaging materials, or semiconductor manufacturing support is a plus.
• Knowledge and application of quality and statistical analysis tools.
• Ability to work independently while effectively supporting global teams.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Integrates AI-assisted tools to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness.
• Collaborates with KMG teams and sites to develop material improvements that reduce cost and improve quality.
• Plan and perform packaging material qualification and testing (ESD, flatness, strength, leak tests).
• Maintain 6S standards and manage laboratory assets.
• Coordinate supplier quality actions and lab equipment maintenance.
