Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Materials Quality engineer to ensure quality for incoming materials and to drive QM processes. You will set up SAP QM and SQM/MQM, perform inspections, and partner with global teams to strengthen supplier quality.

Applicants should hold a chemistry/materials science degree, show strong analytical skills, and collaborate across levels. A semiconductor background is a plus; AI literacy to enhance inspection strategies is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels.
• Growth mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
• Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
• Interest in the semiconductor industry and Micron preferred; AI literacy to use AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive quality consistency for all incoming materials.
• Continuously improve the IQC business processes.
• Set up and maintain SAP QM and SQM/MQM for incoming materials.
• Perform incoming material inspection and characterize key materials.
• Set up SPC monitoring program and reaction mechanisms.
• Work with global stakeholders on supplier quality management.
• Promote customer focus and drive improvements.
