Job summary

Changi Airport Group's Enterprise UXUI Team is seeking an AI-forward design intern (undergraduates only) to evolve and scale our Design Language System (DLS). You’ll work on design foundations across traveller-facing and operations-facing products, using AI as a force multiplier.

Build components, refine variants, and explore AI-assisted tooling to accelerate documentation and pattern definitions. You will collaborate with engineers to translate tokens and components into code, prototype AI

Qualifications

• Undergraduates only; portfolio required.
• Strong foundation in design systems with components and tokens.
• Experience with AI-assisted design tools.
• Frontend development knowledge.
• Ability to structure systems clearly.
• Eager to experiment with prompt engineering.
• Willingness to collaborate with engineers to translate design to code.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to evolving the Design Language System (DLS) using AI-assisted workflows.
• Use AI tools to accelerate component structuring, naming, and variant logic.
• Experiment with prompt engineering to automate documentation and pattern definitions.
• Explore AI-assisted design-to-code translation and alignment between DLS and frontend.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand token-to-code translation and improve governance.
• Prototype lightweight AI tools or scripts to improve DLS efficiency and adoption.
• Audit live products with AI to surface inconsistencies and opportunities.
