TikTok Design Team is seeking talent to craft first-class user experiences for hundreds of millions of users worldwide. You will design AI-powered content features for TikTok LIVE, write interface copy, and prototype interactive experiences using cutting-edge AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Language, Marketing, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Media Technology, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development (e.g., Vibe Coding) using tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot; able to independently deliver working demos or prototypes.
• Strong creative sense and content taste, with the ability to understand user context and identify design pain points.
• Self-motivated, fast learner, and action-oriented; attentive to knowledge sharing and retrospective improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a positive attitude and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about content and design innovation, curious about emerging technologies, and possessing a global mindset.

• Experience in live streaming, entertainment, gaming interactions, or cross-border product launches.
• Prior experience in developing and launching open-source projects, Chrome extensions, or independent applications.
• Familiarity with mainstream AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and skilled in prompt engineering and context optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate content experiences for TikTok LIVE, including writing interface copy, crafting interactive prompts, and developing content strategies that enhance user engagement.
• Partner with product and engineering teams to design AI-powered interactive features; use AI-assisted development tools to quickly build functional prototypes that turn content ideas into testable, user-friendly experiences.
• Optimise the content design workflow by leveraging AI co-development tools and low-code/no-code solutions to build automated toolchains for content production, improving overall team efficiency.
• Own the end-to-end delivery of AI-generated copy and prototype demos — from generating and adapting on-brand text using large language models to implementing interactive demos that showcase the final experience.
• Stay curious about emerging content trends and AI technologies, and proactively explore innovative applications within content design.
