Job summary

INTERPOL invites applications for an Internship in AI Development at its Information Systems and Communication Directorate in Singapore. The role focuses on building AI-powered tools, RAG pipelines, and memory-enabled agents, with hands-on Python and potential frontend work using React/TypeScript.

Recent graduates in CS/CE or related fields will collaborate under senior supervision to prototype features and deploy AI components in a real-world, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Coursework, projects or prior experience in AI, data science or software engineering
• Hands-on experience with Python is essential

Responsibilities

• Assist the AI Acceleration team in building and prototyping AI/LLM-powered features
• Support the development of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and agent memory
• Contribute to backend (Python / FastAPI) and, where relevant, frontend (React / TypeScript) development of AI tools
• Help with testing, documentation and deployment of AI components
