Job summary

The Allegis Group Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an AI Engineer to join our technology team focused on AI-driven development, platform transformation, and modern engineering. You will work on application development, automation, and improving software delivery with AI across the lifecycle.

You’ll collaborate with global teams, develop POCs using Java and Python, and translate complex problems into scalable solutions while communicating trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply an AI-first approach to software engineering, leveraging AI tools to accelerate solution design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and operational support.
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand problems and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Rapidly build proof-of-concepts (POCs) and solution prototypes to validate use cases, demonstrate ROI, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
• Modernise and refactor legacy applications, platforms, and data workflows across the technology landscape.
• Develop and maintain applications and automation solutions primarily using Java and Python.
• Support business-critical platforms through incident investigation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with global teams across multiple regions to deliver technology solutions and platform enhancements.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI capabilities to improve developer productivity and software delivery processes.
