Job summary

ByteDance Seed’s AI Data & Safety - External Partnership Development Team seeks a results-driven professional to source high-quality data suppliers and manage end-to-end partnerships for foundation models and AI-native applications. You will work with seed researchers, industry experts, and data vendors to build a robust supplier ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Management, Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in AI data services, data sourcing, supplier/vendor management, or business development.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to conduct market research and solve complex problems.
• Proven ability in supplier sourcing and channel development with strong business acumen.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management across multiple teams.
• Basic project management capabilities with onboarding and delivery processes and strong data analysis.
• Highly agile, detail-oriented, and execution-focused with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AI model training teams to define data types, standards, and core requirements.
• Translate market insights into data resource development strategies and engage suppliers.
• Conduct strategic analysis of market, supplier, and industry data to support decisions.
• Identify emerging data resources and maintain strong market relationships for access to high-quality sources.
• Lead supplier onboarding, qualification, and capability validation for project delivery.
• Manage end-to-end supplier engagements, including contract terms and compliance.
• Oversee supplier delivery across projects, coordinating stakeholders for timely data delivery.
