An Intern works in project teams, which may be led by a Manager or Director. The expectation is for the Intern to play an active role in supporting the AI & Data team on various projects and initiatives aimed at leveraging data-driven insights to drive business growth and innovation. The role will provide a learning opportunity for the intern and valuable support to the organization.

Key accountabilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Assist in the development and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and insights.
• Support data cleaning, preprocessing, and transformation tasks.
• Assist in designing and conducting experiments to test hypotheses and validate models.
• Help build data pipelines and infrastructure to support data-driven decision-making.
• Contribute to the development of data visualization dashboards and reports.
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies.

Professional skills

• Currently pursuing a Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical concepts.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
• Exposure to agentic AI concepts such as multi-agent systems, tool-use, RAG pipelines, or autonomous task execution is highly desirable.
• Completed at least one hands-on AI development and deployment end-to-end.
• Exposure to one or more cloud services: AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Candidates should demonstrate strength in either AI Engineering, ML Engineering or Data Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to handle intensive workloads in a fast-paced setting.
• An effective team player, dedicated to contributing towards the outcome desired by the team.
