Job summary

Google Cloud is seeking a Customer Engineer with a specialty in AI to partner with technical sales teams and accelerate adoption of AI workloads. You will write code, develop prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and demos to showcase specialized solutions while solving customer issues and providing feedback to product teams.

You will collaborate with platform CEs, engage with customers to understand business needs, and present practical, scalable solutions across Google Cloud’s portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of cloud native architecture exp in customer-facing or support role.
• Experience architecting AI-integrated solutions using agents and enterprise data (RAG, Text-to-SQL, semantic search).
• Coding in Python/JavaScript/TypeScript/Go/Java to demo or workshop patterns.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical solutions for complex AI workloads to ensure rapid customer adoption.
• Provide functional, customer-tailored solutions weaving sales strategy with prototyping.
• Offer deep technical consultations and build lasting customer relationships.
• Document and prioritize customer feature requests with Product/Engineering teams.
• Travel to customer sites and events as a public advocate for Google Cloud.
