Job summary

Tallentire is seeking an Automation & AI Specialist to join our Asia Pacific IT function on a 6-month rolling contract. You will build automations and AI-enabled solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform, deliver dashboards and data models, and collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Experience with Copilot for Microsoft 365 and prompt engineering desired
• Strong data modeling and analytics capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL is a plus
• Knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Logic Apps is a plus

Our client, a European global financial services firm, is looking for an Automation & AI Specialist to join their Asia Pacific IT function on a 6-month rolling contract basis. This role will report locally to the Head of IT Asia Pacific and will play a key part in developing automation, AI, reporting, and digital solutions that drive operational efficiency and innovation across the business.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role suited to someone who enjoys working closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, practical solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform and AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain business applications using Microsoft Power Apps
2. Design and implement workflow automation solutions using Power Automate
3. Create and support Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models
4. Design and optimize AI solutions using effective prompting techniques
5. Support adoption and use of Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities across business functions
6. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into practical, scalable solutions
7. Perform testing, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of developed solutions
8. Create user documentation and provide end-user training and support
9. Ensure all solutions comply with IT security, governance, and best practice standards

Key Skills & Experience

1. Hands-on experience with Power Apps and Power Automate
2. Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, data modeling, and analytics
3. Experience with Copilot for Microsoft 365, prompt engineering, and Copilot Agents
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
6. Experience with SQL Server and Azure SQL (nice to have)
7. Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or Azure Logic Apps (nice to have)
