The AHP Cluster Lead works in the field of social service management. S/He should be qualified and trained to monitor and manage the organisation's strategic initiative, resource management, collaboration and corporate governance to ensure operational efficiency in AHP service delivery. S/He oversees strategic implementation, plans the use of human resources, monitors service standards and client outcomes, and initiates professional relationships across service entities. S/He also ensures operational and governance efficiency through supervision of a multi-disciplinary staff performance evaluation, and policy implementation. An experienced management staff who is meticulous, committed and possesses good problem-solving skills, the AHP Cluster Lead also works in collaboration with other agencies, sectors and ministries in the course of his/her work.

Responsibilities
Build professional partnerships and collaborations
- Build professional partnerships across agencies and sectors to provide social services
Maintain operational efficiency in line with strategic objectives
- Oversee the implementation of AHP programmes and services for the service cluster
- Oversee the implementation of operational strategies, policies and processes for AHP service delivery within service cluster
- Monitor service standards, performance indicators and operating guidelines for AHP service delivery
- Monitor client outcomes and satisfaction
- Lead resolution of operational issues in the area of AHP service delivery within service cluster
- Supervise work plan implementation for AHP staff within the cluster, in alignment with departmental and organisational goals
- Implement changes to priority AHP service areas for the service cluster
Manage resources
- Implement strategies for deployment of AHP manpower resources to fulfil the needs of the service cluster and department
- Provide recommendations to funding proposals for the delivery of AHP services
- Monitor the workload of the team
- Manage staff well-being and engagement activities
- Manage performance of the team and progress in meeting key performance indicators
- Provide support for the recruitment, selection and assessment of staff
- Oversee management of clinical resources, inventories and records
- Plan and monitor the budgets of the team, programmes and projects within the cluster
Develop organisational capability for service delivery
- Assess capability gaps within the team
- Oversee implementation of professional development programmes for the team
Demonstrate corporate governance
- Conduct audits on AHP service quality to ensure compliance with processes and policies
- Implement governance policies, procedures and clinical standards for AHP service delivery
- Monitor risk management activities
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Social Work or Speech & Language Therapy recognised by the relevant local professional associations
- Post-Graduate qualifications in relevant fields of study, e.g. social services, healthcare, professional specialisations or management
Other Information
- Minimum 8 years of experience in AHP clinical practice and/or management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AHP clinical supervision
- Prior experience in supervisory and/or leadership roles
- Registration with relevant professional licensing or accreditation board
