We seek a candidate eager to grow, learn, and work diligently. Our department is expanding, and we are looking for a bilingual individual who thrives in a fast-paced, professional, and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor freight to ensure timely arrival and accurate customs declarations for final delivery within specified timeframes.
- Follow up on inbound shipments to ensure timely delivery to the consignee.
- Monitor flight/vessel arrivals and provide timely feedback to customers.
- Ensure compliance with Pharmaceutical & Healthcare requirements per GDP/GDPMDS regulations.
- Report shipment discrepancies promptly to customers and origin offices.
- Complete customs competency tests and file customs entries as needed.
- Maintain proper documentation in accordance with customer profiles and local regulations.
- Meet Key Performance Indicators for customs entries, complying with Singapore Customs and other authorities.
- Aim for 100% customer satisfaction by understanding needs and ensuring compliance.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints and queries, providing solutions or improvement plans.
- Answer incoming calls courteously and promptly.
- Build and maintain good rapport with customers.
- Accurately enter data into the system in a timely manner.
- Ensure freight and handling charges are billed correctly and promptly.
- Prepare and submit reports as required.
- Perform additional tasks to support department needs.
Other Skills:
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Email, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
Qualifications include tertiary education with at least 1 year of relevant experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
