Job description

Our client is one of the largest engineering solutions companies in process refrigeration and gas compression system integration, with global operations. This role of Aftersales Service Manager requires technical expertise in centrifugal, diaphragm, screw, and reciprocating compressors in the oil & gas industry.

Are you an experienced, customer-focused leader with a passion for aftersales excellence?

We are seeking a Global Aftersales Service Manager to lead the aftersales service team across international territories including Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas.

Based in Singapore, this pivotal role involves ensuring efficient service operations, maximizing customer satisfaction, and driving aftersales revenue through effective scheduling, coordination, and strategic management of spare parts sales.

You will collaborate with Service Managers in Korea, Switzerland, the USA, Thailand, and other key locations to deliver exceptional support to global customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop the aftersales service team, including technicians and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Manage vendor relationships, procurement, tender bidding, and documentation, especially for customers in Asia and the Middle East.
  • Establish and nurture customer relationships, proactively addressing service needs and concerns.
  • Partner with sales to identify opportunities for spare parts and service contracts; ensure warranty claims are processed accurately.
  • Develop and implement service schedules, oversee service and maintenance activities, and maintain records.
  • Create SOPs to enhance service efficiency and ensure safety compliance.
  • Conduct training to enhance team skills; provide hands-on technical support when needed; travel globally for field support.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering fields.
  • Certifications in equipment maintenance are advantageous.
  • 5-7 years of experience in technical service or aftersales support, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven experience managing service operations and spare parts sales, preferably with compressors and rotating equipment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, technical, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools, service management, and inventory systems.
  • Customer-oriented with excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel; flexibility to work outside normal hours.

Experience with centrifugal, diaphragm, screw, and reciprocating compressors in the oil & gas industry is required.
