Job summary

A leading company in the drilling industry is looking for a Sales Specialist to enhance sales of service contracts and spare parts. The successful candidate will drive customer relationships, manage key accounts, and coordinate technical solutions to optimize customer satisfaction. This position calls for strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, along with experience in relevant sales roles.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aftermarket sales of spare parts or maintenance service contracts.
  • Knowledge of electrical & electronics components of equipment/machinery.
  • Experience in managing key account clients.

Job description

  • Sales Development
    - Drive sales of service contracts, upgrades, and spare parts.
    • Create customized proposals aligned with customer goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management
    - Maintain strong customer relationships to ensure renewals.
    • Conduct site visits and account reviews to identify upsell opportunities.
    • Act as the main point of contact post-sale.
  • Technical & Commercial Coordination
    - Collaborate with internal teams to design viable service solutions.
    • Prepare quotes, tender responses, and SLAs.
    • Ensure pricing balances competitiveness and profitability.
  • Market & Installed Base Analysis
    - Track equipment lifecycle to time offers.
    • Analyze competitor services and identify growth areas.
  • Sales Reporting & Forecasting
    - Use CRM tools to manage pipeline and track performance.
    • Report on sales metrics and provide strategic market feedback.
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement
    - Work cross-functionally to improve customer experience.
    • Contribute to service portfolio and marketing initiatives.

Qualification

  • Experience in relevant aftermarket sales of spare parts or maintence service contract in any industry
  • Knowledge with electrical & electronics components of equipment / machineries
  • Experience in managing key accounts clients
  • Good interpersonal & negotiation skills
