Job Description & Responsibilities

As a Premium After-School Teacher, you will:

  • Oversee centre operations each afternoon, ensuring smooth flow, safety and a positive atmosphere
  • Plan, prepare & execute lessons in you area of expertise
  • Coach homework success: support each student through their work, ensuring they grasp the material and finish all work before heading home
  • Assess & report on each student’s learning milestones and share insights with parents
  • Build strong relationships with children and their families, being their trusted mentor and cheerleader
  • Handle administrative tasks: attendance records, progress reports and centre communications
  • Maintain a clean, safe space: tidy workstations, sanitized materials and clear walkways
What You Need to Succeed
  • Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; Singapore citizen or PR
  • Communication & Rapport: clear spoken/written English, ease in connecting with children, parents & colleagues
  • Group Management & Coaching: engage small groups, guide learning and keep students on task
  • Organization & Adaptability: juggle prep, teaching and centre operations; pivot when plans change
  • Team Player & Tech-Savvy: collaborate smoothly with colleagues; comfortable with Google Docs/Sheets and basic ed-tech
