Job summary

SAPLING GROVE PTE. LTD. seeks dedicated educators to supervise and engage primary students (7-12 years) after school, delivering academic guidance and enrichment activities in a safe, supportive environment.

You will supervise homework, run English spelling and Chinese Ting Xie practice, coordinate with parents and school staff, and help plan holiday programs. Candidates value teamwork, creativity, and a genuine love of helping children learn through play.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience working with primary school-aged children in student care or teaching environments is preferred.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging students in learning and play.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of child development and behaviour management strategies is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide students in completing daily school homework
• Conduct English spelling and Chinese Ting Xie practice
• Ensure safety and timely transfer of students from school to student centre
• Build positive relationships with students through guidance and encouragement
• Conduct centre programs and themed activities
• Assist in planning school holiday programs and excursions
• Ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing of all students
• Monitor student behavior and emotional well-being
• Communicating regularly with parents and school administration
• Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by Centre Manager
