Job summary

EtonHouse International Education Group in Singapore is looking for a dedicated educator to coach primary students in daily homework, with emphasis on Chinese language and dictation.

You will supervise spelling and dictation, teach life skills programmes in both English and Chinese, and ensure safe transport from nearby schools while keeping parents and managers promptly updated on progress.

Qualifications

• Diploma in any field or WSQ Student Care certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in an independent student care centre.
• Familiarity with the MOE primary school syllabus will be advantageous.
• Strong command of Chinese (spoken and written); able to coach Chinese at primary level.
• Proactive communicator with both parents and the centre team.
• Positive, patient, and genuinely enjoys working with young children.
• Dependable, with strong integrity and work ethic.
• Neat, tidy and calm demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Coaching primary school students through daily homework, with a focus on Chinese and 听写
• Supervising and checking Chinese spelling and dictation
• Teaching life skills programmes in both English and Chinese
• Bringing students from nearby schools safely to the centre
• Giving prompt, clear feedback to centre leaders and parents on each child's behaviour and progress
• Keeping parents in the loop promptly and regularly
• Handling admin duties and maintaining the centre premises
• Following up on fee payments when needed
• Taking on ad-hoc tasksassigned by management
