Job summary

A logistics MNC is seeking a candidate for a 6-month contract role to manage customer inquiries and foster relationships in Singapore. The role entails effective account management, preparation of bids, and collaboration with global teams to improve service delivery in the logistics sector. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in customer service within logistics and hold relevant educational qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Min 2 years of experience in After-Sales Support or Customer Service.
  • Knowledge of Shipping, Logistics, or Supply Chain operations is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills required.

6 Month Contract

Basic : $2800 - $3800 (Depends on experience) + Incentives + AWS + VB

Mon - Fri / 9am - 6pm

Working Location: Suntec

Logistic Company - MNC

Min 2 year of experience in 3PL or Freight Forwarding field

Your Role, Your Influence:

  • Manage customer inquiries as the primary contact, ensuring effective and proactive account managements

  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers and work closely with other departments

  • Assist with prepare bids and proposals to support successful client engagements

  • Provide insights to improve revenue based on current business operations

  • Liaise with global account teams and participate in regular reviews of performance and KPI

  • Assist the global operations team by offering troubleshooting support and guidance

  • Escalate and address customer concerns promptly to meet agreed timelines

  • Liaise with sales, customer service, billing, and operations teams to to ensure smooth service delivery.

  • Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and promote best practices.

  • Assist in vendor sourcing for cost reduction and operational efficiency

  • Any ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirement:

  • GCE O level or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistic or a related field

  • Min 2 years of experience in in After-Sales Support, Customer Service , preferably in Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or a related industry.

  • Knowledge of Shipping, Logistics, or Supply Chain operations will be an advantage

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
