A leading company in aerospace manufacturing is seeking a skilled Welder with expertise in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) and relevant certifications. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience and involves assembling, operating machines, and troubleshooting tasks within the repair shop. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and must be willing to work overtime or shifts when required.
Job Description
Weld different alloy metal components together with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) - process equipment to repair aircraft
Apply SOP in checking and assembling tasks
Operate machines for assembling tasks and perform cutting and grinding
Operate robotic welding cell
Backup and assist repair development of new and existing capabilities
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by Repair Shop Manager
Job Requirements
Minimum ‘O’ / ‘N’ level or equivalent
At least 3 years of related working experience and minimum 1 year with GTAW welding process experience.
Possess relevant welding certification standard for fusion welding for Aerospace
Candidate with Civil Aviation Aircraft Welding Approval would be of advantage
Possess good analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
Able to work independently and multitasking
Must be willing to work overtime/ shift if required
