Job summary

SIA Engineering is seeking a dedicated trainer to design and deliver structured training programs for engine types and MRO processes. You will plan classroom and hands-on sessions, manage OJT paths, and ensure compliance with aviation standards, while leveraging digital tools for efficiency.

The role is a 6-month contract with potential conversion to permanent; emphasis is on safety, regulatory alignment, and hands-on skill advancement within a high‑compliance environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Aerospace/Aeronautical/Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years hands-on experience as an aircraft engine technician or inspector in an MRO environment.
• Aircraft Maintenance License (CAAS B1.1) or equivalent is highly advantageous.
• Certification in adult training (ACLP or equivalent) preferred.
• Deep familiarity with engine structures, teardown procedures, QMS (AS9110/AS9100), and interpreting engine manuals.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical curricula for engine types (LEAP 1-A & 1-B) and module overhauls per OEM manuals.
• Plan classroom lessons and hands-on training on MRO processes like borescope inspections, disassembly, rework, and engine test cell calibration.
• Oversee apprentice training paths, track task-card sign-offs, and deploy electronic task cards.
• Ensure training procedures comply with CAAS Part 145, EASA Part-145, or FAA regulations.
• Conduct Human Factors and EHS briefings to reduce errors and promote safety.
