Job summary

RTX is hiring for an onsite mechanical/aeronautical repair role in Singapore. The successful candidate will inspect defects, perform mechanical repairs, form/replace parts, assemble/disassemble, and ensure final repair quality for service release.

Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering is required; CAAS papers are advantageous. Independent work ethic, team attitude and willingness to learn are essential. All applicants are welcome, including those without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Nitec in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Understanding of blue prints, repair instructions & sketches.
• CAAS A12, B11 & L11/L12 papers would be advantageous.
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• A team player with a positive working attitude and keen interest to learn.
• Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and document defects in Inspection Repair Records (IRR).
• Mechanical repair tasks.
• Part forming and replacement work.
• Assembly and disassembly work.
• Final inspect completed repair task and ensure serviceability.
• Use Alignment Jig / ASMJ for repair work.
• Follow repair scheme and routing; clear routing on completion.
• Produce high-quality repair work.
• Adhere to PPE requirements and maintain 5S in workshop.
