Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Singapore is hiring an Aerospace Technician to perform overhaul, repair and associated operations on aircraft equipment. The role requires collaboration with a production team to meet quality, safety and output standards.

Applicants should hold a NITEC or comparable engineering diploma, with English proficiency and the ability to read technical manuals. SAP experience is a plus, and aviation experience training is provided.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Higher NITEC/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electronics) is required.
• CAAS/EASA L12/L11/M10 papers or similar qualifications would be advantageous.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Must be able to read technical manuals, orders, drawings and other instructions.
• Computer literacy; SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work at cell level to meet production schedule.
• Assemble, disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot and test per maintenance manuals.
• Update repair estimates accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with supervisor and support staff to resolve issues.
• Follow Quality Management System (AS9110C/Part 145) requirements.
• Handle measuring equipment like torque wrenches, calipers, micrometers, gauges.
• Adhere to Environment, Health & Safety policies and export control regulations.
