A leading company in aerospace manufacturing is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create CNC programs and oversee machine operations. The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team. You'll be responsible for ensuring product quality while maintaining operational efficiency, with opportunities for professional growth in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Able to work overtime or shifts when required.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive learning attitude.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate CNC programs for Aerospace components/parts.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Monitor the machine during operation and perform maintenance.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Create accurate CNC programs for Aerospace components/parts
• Simulate (on ICAM software) the Virtual Machine feature for possible collision/gouges
• Set raw materials onto the machine
• Load the CNC & UHF programs into the machine
• Read & interpret route cards, setup sheets, technical blueprints & design models
• Monitor the machine as it runs & make adjustments or troubleshoot as needed
• Keep detailed records for equipment & procedures
• Perform necessary maintenance & cleaning on equipment
• Inspect finished product to ensure it meets required specifications

Requirements:

• Diploma in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Able to work OT or shift work when required
• Strong attention to details
• Team Player & independent
• Proactive & keen interest to learn
