Job summary

Charterhouse Asia seeks a capable RF measurement specialist to join our engineering team in Singapore. You will operate advanced test instruments, perform RF/microwave measurements and document results for complex components and systems.

You will develop calibration procedures, analyse data, report findings to customers, and support method development. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, attention to quality, and willingness to travel as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physics or related engineering field.
• Solid grounding in RF, microwave, electromagnetics or material characterisation.
• Strong analytical and technical writing skills.
• Willing to travel overseas as projects demand.

Responsibilities

• Carry out RF measurements following approved procedures.
• Set up and operate vector network analysers (VNAs), spectrum analysers and related RF test equipment.
• Develop, run and document calibration, verification and system performance checks.
• Analyse results, assess measurement uncertainty, spot anomalies and lead technical troubleshooting.
• Write test plans, procedures, technical reports and data summaries, and present findings to customers.
• Contribute to measurement method development, automation, software improvements and capability-building projects.
• Work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to meet technical, quality and project goals.
• Guide technicians on equipment setup, testing, data capture and lab work.
• Comply with quality, safety, security and laboratory procedures.
• Take on other duties assigned by the Department Manager.
