Job summary

Manpower Singapore is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering professional in Singapore's Changi area to act as SME for component repair processes, ensuring adherence to HSE standards and NADCAP requirements while driving Right First Time delivery.

The role requires MES experience, Six Sigma knowledge, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects, develop repair instructions, and deploy process improvements with data-driven decisions across the plant and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of high-bypass gas turbine engines and repair processes, including welding, machining, painting, and coating.
• Excellent communication, analytical, engineering and project management skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills with Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Experience developing repair instructions and repair schemes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for component repair processes and guide cross-functional teams.
• Ensure HSE compliance and support the Zero Harm programme.
• Identify safety risks and implement mitigation per Safety Management System.
• Develop and improve manufacturing processes to achieve Right First Time.
• Manage FAIR, MSA, and change control within the area.
• Lead MES process plans and coordinate MES implementation.
• Drive digitisation projects for repair instructions and data analytics.
