Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, invites applications for a supervisory role in Singapore. The position is onsite at the SG-01-SINGAPORE-011 site, supporting CORE, EH&S, Ethics & Compliance and Quality programs.

Minimum education requires a degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing or Aeronautical Engineering, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a precision engineering environment and willingness to work bi-monthly rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Degree with at least 2 years relevant experience in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering/Aeronautical Engineering.
• At least 1 year in supervisory/leadership role in a Precision Engineering environment; bi-monthly rotating shifts.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and process controls.
• Strong skills in problem solving, coaching and mentoring employees.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good team player and process a "can do" attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the Continuous Improvement programs and CORE Maturity activities within the Company.
• Support and participate in the EH&S programs and activities within the company.
• Report all incidents (injuries, illnesses, near misses, spills etc.), hazardous conditions, and emergencies to his/her supervisor.
• Perform a risk assessment of work activities, taking corrective and preventive actions.
• Comply with EH&S regulations/policies/programs/rules and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
• Attend EH&S training programs and takes personal responsibility for safety.
