Job summary

Barnes Aerospace Singapore is seeking skilled machinists to set up and operate manual and CNC Lathe, Grinding, VTL and milling machines. You will read blueprints with GD&T, inspect parts with precision gauges, and follow strict process instructions to ensure high-quality components.

Candidates should have 1–5 years in precision engineering or aerospace manufacturing, and be comfortable with rotating shifts as required by operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-5 years’ machining experience in Precision Engineering / Aerospace environment.
• Proficient with manual and CNC Lathe, Grinding, VTL and milling machines.
• Able to read blueprints with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).

Responsibilities

• Set up jigs, fixtures and tooling for machining.
• Operate manual and CNC Lathe, Grinding, VTL and milling machines.
• Perform in-process inspection using precision gauges and micrometers.
• Adhere to engine manuals, technical data and work instructions.
