Job summary

Collins Aerospace, a leading RTX company, is hiring an Evacuation Slide Packer in Singapore to join the manufacturing team. You will perform parts assembly, handle dangerous goods components, and test inflatable systems in line with the Component Maintenance Manual requirements.

The role requires reading English manuals, following packing instructions, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards. Training is provided for those without aviation experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum GCE "O" Level, ITE/ NITEC in mechanical, mechatronic, or other engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and understand English and technical manuals, service orders and drawings.
• Computer literacy with SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform work at cell level to meet the production schedule.
• Inspect and assemble sub-component parts and perform final testing per Component Maintenance Manual (CMM).
• Adhere to safety procedures when handling dangerous goods.
• Fold and pack inflatable components according to CMM and packing instructions.
• Update repair cost estimates promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisor and support personnel to resolve issues.
• Comply with Quality Management System (AS9110C/Part 145) requirements.
• Use measuring equipment such as torque wrench, calipers, micrometers, bore/gauge depth.
