Job summary

Safran S.A. in Singapore seeks an Industrial Method Engineer to lead deployment of new capabilities for MRO and production in a regulated aviation environment.

You will coordinate with Central Engineering, design processes, validate methods and ensure compliance with MOE, SMS, HSE and aviation standards. Reporting to the Engineer Manager, you will drive capability development from feasibility through Entry Into Service, manage MBOMs and routings, and oversee documentation control, tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in industrialisation, methods engineering, or process engineering in aerospace/high-reliability manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of Part-145, industrial readiness, SMS, HF, HSE and process qualification/validation.
• Experience developing industrial processes, MBOMs, layouts, work instructions and documentation.
• Experience with process validation, capability studies, FAI and qualification activities.
• Knowledge of controlled engineering documents (TCNs, MDI/MDR, NCR) and change governance.
• Hands-on experience specifying and validating tooling, fixtures, test benches and equipment.
• Familiarity with Lean, QRQC, 8D, Kaizen and process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrialisation from feasibility to operational go-live.
• Coordinate with Central Engineering to align milestones and standards.
• Review regulatory requirements to ensure capability readiness.
• Develop compliant processes, routings, layouts and standard work instructions.
• Conduct industrial validation including trials and FAI.
• Maintain MBOMs, process sheets and documentation with change governance.
• Specify and validate tooling, fixtures and industrial equipment.
• Drive continuous improvement and harmonisation across sites.
