Job summary

Michael Page Singapore is recruiting for a software engineer to develop applications within real-time embedded environments for mission-critical systems. You will design, code, verify, and maintain software components to meet strict system requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.

You will perform testing, document technical details, and support deployment and integration at customer sites when required, while upholding software quality standards and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in Software/Engineering or related field.
• Experience in C, C++, C#, and .NET technologies.
• Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and testing frameworks.
• Exposure to RTOS and embedded software development is advantageous.
• Knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, or machine learning is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications within real‑time embedded environments.
• Design, code, verify, and maintain software components to meet system requirements.
• Execute software and system testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering teams to achieve project objectives.
• Produce and maintain technical and user documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to software quality standards, coding guidelines, and safety requirements.
• Support deployment, integration, and testing activities at customer sites when required.
