Job summary

Manpower Singapore is recruiting a Chemical Cleaning Technician (Aerospace MRO) to perform chemical cleaning and surface treatments on aircraft engine components at Seletar, supporting OEM standards and quality control.

You will operate cleaning equipment, follow SOPs, and inspect parts before and after cleaning. Applicants should have a NITEC/Diploma in Engineering or Chemical Processing and 2–5 years in chemical cleaning or aerospace/MRO, with strong safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• NITEC/Diploma in Engineering, Chemical Processing, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in chemical cleaning, manufacturing, aerospace or MRO environment.
• Knowledge of chemical handling and workplace safety practices.
• Able to read and follow technical instructions and SOPs.
• Familiarity with aerospace materials and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical cleaning and surface treatment of engine components.
• Operate cleaning equipment and chemical processing systems.
• Carry out degreasing, descaling, rinsing, drying, and passivation processes.
• Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and OEM work instructions.
• Inspect components before and after cleaning.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment.
• Support audits, documentation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of chemicals and tools.
