Job summary

Sopra Steria in Singapore seeks a System Integration Engineer to coordinate integration of software and hardware within a complex ATM system. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team across remote sites, perform testing, debugging and documentation, and ensure performance and security requirements are met.

The role requires 3+ years of experience in integrating complex software-centric real-time systems, strong scripting and DevOps skills, and the ability to collaborate with global teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or relevant experience.
• 3+ years minimum experience holding similar positions integrating complex software-centric real-time systems.
• Ability to understand the structure of and troubleshoot Virtualisation Platforms/Operating Systems (Clients/Servers): 3+ years
• Windows Operating systems
• VMWare
• Scripting: Python, Shell, XML: 3+ years
• DevOps and Automation Tools: Ansible, Jenkins
• Configuration Management: GIT (Bitbucket), JIRA
• Cybersecurity: LDAP, AD, PKI
• Network Protocols and technologies: SNMP, UDP, TCP, IP
• Debugging tools e.g. Wireshark
• Infrastructure monitoring tools
• Aptitude to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary integrated team environment with colleagues based in remote sites or other countries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct successful integration and testing of incremental software releases for systems/subsystems.
• Set up environments to support integration, testing and acceptance activities.
• Define and contribute to testing across platforms (regression, interface, simulation).
• Analyze system/subsystem issues, log and track them per processes.
• Collaborate with system, subsystem and infrastructure teams to align with design.
• Produce documentation and engineering artefacts with required compliance.
• Develop scripts to automate system administration tasks.
• Operate test and measuring tools for performance and response time.
• Provide technical support to junior integrators & V&V teams.
• Support leads and planning with risk mitigation and cost insights.
• Author/review documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
