Job summary

GE Vernova in Singapore is seeking a skilled technician to perform thermal spray and GEL coating for gas turbine and aero-derivative engine repair. You will follow work instructions, complete tasks such as blasting, polishing and heat-treatment, and maintain quality, equipment care and production schedules.

You will also ensure adherence to EHS rules, report unsafe practices, and be prepared to take on additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Completion of Secondary Level or higher education.
• NTC or equivalent preferred.
• 3 years of working experience in the related field is preferred for this position. Candidates without relevant experience will also be considered as on the job training will be provided.
• Basic Command of spoken and written English
• Able to perform rotating shift

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal spray and/or GEL coating for gas turbine & aero-derivative engine repair
• Follow Work instructions to perform any tasks assigned which may include blasting, polishing and heat-treatment, etc.
• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.
• Carries out other duties as assigned.
