A leading company in the semiconductor industry is seeking an Advisor for Human Resources. This role will drive HR initiatives and programs while ensuring compliance with various labor regulations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in HR practices, particularly in managing employee relations and supporting business strategies.
The successful incumbent will play a key role in driving organizational-wide HR programs and initiatives of our corporate headquarters.
Responsibilities:
As an Advisor, Human Resources, s/he will need to proactively understand the key business drivers affecting the assigned function and translate them into people management strategies and resulting needs for HR products and services.
Partner closely with business leaders to plan and timely fulfill their manpower requirements that are aligned with their business strategies. This includes driving effective workforce planning to enable the organization has the right resources to drive business needs.
Advise in the sourcing, selection, promotion, and placements of employees that are aligned with business directions.
Proactively responds to and resolves employee relation issues such as employees’ grievances, and complaints.
Provide guidance and advice to business unit managers and staff on HR policies and practices as and when the need arises.
Support key people processes (performance, development, and career) to ensure that employees’ level of performance and capabilities meet current and future standards.
Benchmark and recommend best HR practices for effective implementation of sound HR programs/initiatives.
Regularly review and analyse employee attrition trends and reasons for resignation and suggest appropriate interventions to curb undesirable turnover.
Participate in and support the implementation of global HR projects and initiatives, where applicable.
Ensure full compliance of HR processes with SOX / Enterprise level requirements.
Qualifications:
Degree in Human Resource Management.
At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
Good understanding of HR practices and operations, including knowledge of employee relations and compensation & benefits.
Familiar with local labor law and related statutory regulations.
Sound knowledge of and exposure in employee and industrial relations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
Strong attention to detail while producing accurate and high-quality work.
Independent and self-driven with ability to multi-task and willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and effective problem-solving skills.
A team player with initiative and good interpersonal skills.
