The Advisor, Financial Advisory Southeast Asia, will be the key source for driving Sales Financing support, financial risk management, and development of new business models, meeting the evolving opportunities and business potential of Siemens Business Units in Southeast Asia. Displaying a highly entrepreneurial approach in providing financial services and facilitating new strategic opportunities.

You'll make an impact in the following:

• Provide comprehensive finance advisory services across Southeast Asia, focusing on selected Siemens Business Units.
• Identify, develop, and drive financing opportunities in collaboration with SFS Business Units, external partners, and Siemens companies.
• Support new business models and go-to-market strategies based on customer needs and financial industry offerings.
• Serve as the financing point of contact, driving value creation through financing solutions and strengthening Finance Advisory’s presence in Southeast Asia.
• Provide financial risk management support to the FIN teams of Siemens Business Units in the respective countries, especially where financing programs have been implemented (e.g., channel partner financing, sale of receivables).
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to implement financing programs, including reconciliation of receivables, uploading invoices, and onboarding customers to financiers’ platforms.
• Support special projects and initiatives related to financing programs, including digitalization efforts to improve operational efficiency.
• Review credit policies of respective businesses as part of financing program implementation.

It is generally expected that there will be approximately a 50:50 split of time between pre-financing and post-financing responsibilities.

You’d describe yourself as:

• Master’s degree or similar in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in finance within an international company or financial institution.
• Deep knowledge of financing products, solutions, and instruments such as project/structured/commercial debt, equity, fund solutions, credit insurance, and special solutions (including receivables sale, factoring, supply chain financing).
• Understanding of Siemens markets, key players, market dynamics, and sales processes.
• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
• Sense of urgency and adaptability to change.
• Strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills.
• Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with management-level internal and external partners.
• Proven knowledge of the Southeast Asia region and its financing specifics.
